People always ask why catch muskies on the fly??? The obvious answer is this is the funniest, and most efficient method of catching muskies. Prior to using the fly rod I was only catching 3 or 4 muskies per year using traditional gear. Since 1998, I have exclusively used the fly rod. Not only have I caught the biggest muskies of my fishing career, I now average over 100 muskies personally per year and my guide clients have done as well also. I will try to relate some of these experiences through the Pond Monster Journal.
